Artist
statement.

My artistic practice is rooted in a fascination with color, atmosphere, nature, and texture. Working across painting and photography, I am drawn to the ways light and composition can evoke emotion, invite deeper contemplation, and reveal something unexpected within the familiar.

My paintings emerge from an intuitive process of experimentation, often beginning without a predetermined composition. Built upon successive layers of texture and translucent glazes, each work gradually takes shape in an ongoing dialogue between intention and chance. This openness to discovery allows both the composition and its meaning to evolve organically.

Photography invites a different kind of exploration - one rooted in stillness, presence, and observation. I am drawn to the quiet, ephemeral beauty that exists independently of our circumstances, often revealing itself only when we slow down enough to notice.

Where painting provides a visual language for experiences beyond words, photography offers a way of reconnecting with the world beyond my experiences.

Together, these practices have become complementary forms of expression, discovery, and solace.
